Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 20, 2026

Forces for Nature, LLC (“Forces for Nature,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information this website collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It is written to comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) and the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Information We Collect

Contact form: when you send a message through the contact page, we receive the name, email address, and message you provide. It is delivered to our email inbox and used only to respond to you.

Newsletter signup: when you sign up for the free guide or newsletter, your first name and email address are stored with our email service provider, MailerLite, and used to send you the guide and occasional emails. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.

Automatic data: like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance. We do not use this data to identify you.

Embedded content: some pages embed content from third parties such as YouTube (videos) and podcast platforms. Those services may set their own cookies and collect data according to their own privacy policies when you interact with the embedded content.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to respond to your messages, deliver the newsletter and free guide you requested, and keep the website secure. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make this site work: our web host (SiteGround), our email service (MailerLite), and embedded media platforms as described above.

Legal Bases (EU/UK Visitors)

Where GDPR applies, we process your data on the basis of your consent (newsletter signup), our legitimate interest in responding to your enquiries (contact form), and our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure (server logs). You may withdraw consent at any time.

Your Rights

You can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop emailing you. EU/UK visitors also have the right to data portability, to restrict or object to processing, and to complain to their local supervisory authority. California residents may request the categories of personal information we have collected. To exercise any of these rights, email crystal@forcesfornature.com – we will respond within 30 days.

Do Not Track

This site does not track visitors across third-party websites, and therefore does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

Data Retention

Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Server logs are retained by our host on a rolling short-term basis.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Our school programs are arranged with schools and educators, not directly with students online.

Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
