Did you know that there is a little one-pound monkey in the forests of Colombia that looks like Albert Einstein? Many Colombians didn’t know that either. But, today’s guest, Rosamira Guillen, is changing that. She’s the Executive Director of Proyecto Titi, working for the past decade to protect Cotton-top Tamarins. And her efforts have not gone unnoticed. She’s a winner of the National Geographic/ Buffet Award, the Whitley Fund for Nature Award, and the Premio Latino America Verde, just to name a few. We talk about the different strategies she’s using that help the local communities around where these animals live to get people to buy into their protection and conservation- and how they are working!
